Copro Gallery / Opening Oct 10
Totally Under Control
Totally Under Control opens Saturday, October 10, 7–10pm at Copro Gallery. It's my room in a four-artist show with Chet Zar, Phil Tippett, and Katie Gamb, and I'll be there with Chet and Phil.
The show is bigger than my wall. Chet Zar unveils The Temptation of Saint Anthony, his largest painting to date at six feet by four. Phil Tippett presents Artifacts of a Mad God, an excavation of the stop-motion world he spent decades building. Katie Gamb shows Grounding. Good company.
Opening reception: Saturday, October 10, 7–10pm. Free and open to the public. On view through October 31.

About Gabe Leonard
Gabe Leonard grew up in an oil field camp in Wyoming. Raised by an old prospector and a mountain lion.
He found the start to his art career on the boardwalk in Venice Beach, CA in 1999. Selling copies of his portfolio to tourists until he could find a real job. That job never came.
With no plan B, Gabe took his show to other streets and venues, then other cities and states, then internationally.
The last 10 years have been met with a world that has moved on in an industry still relying on landlines.
The current pay more, get less nature of the landscape is a comedy on the cusp of tragedy. In a pre-apocalyptic landscape, good people with bad ideas prove the west never left…. Welcome to Town
